We're excited to introduce Machaela Dechant as the newest member of the Carestreet team of Senior Guides.

Machaela is a KC native - from Shawnee, KS and holds her Bachelors in Health Service Administration from Washburn University, and Masters degree from Des Moines University in Healthcare Administration.

She started in senior living as a volunteer in high school at a memory care community doing one-on-ones and group activities. She's worked in all levels of care: memory care, assisted living, long term care, rehab, and independent living. She's worked in activities, sales, and community operations, and has found such a sense of purpose in helping seniors and their families throughout the years - and is very grateful for the relationships that she has built along the way.

Her motivation is seeing seniors thrive with the right resources, and the peace of mind their families can feel as a result.
